So I came back to Blogger after a long time (took some time working out my username) and saw that I probably needed to update my blog or just delete it. Considering the things I had managed to create while being offline I thought I would give it a go again. ^^
Flipping around some origami books I came across the origami horse, I always try it out on full size origami paper before down-scaling to see how complicated it is and if it will be viable for down-scaling. It looked sort of looked like a horse, it wasn't the most traditional type but seemed like a good idea.
So it turned out like this:
It was folded using Japanese washi paper, at a size of 3cm x 3cm
This then gave me a miniature horse of just under 2 cm tall, after which I folded another, added some T-pins and hooks for a complete set of earrings.
I enjoyed making this pair as I managed to keep all the folds aligned which is especially tricky when working at a small scale.
I'm hoping to keep to a strict regime of posting on more of a weekly basis since I have a stock of photos and crafts that I can share while taking a break from studying which is all that I seem to be doing now ^^;
